We all love good news. As Christians, we draw much comfort from the reality that God is at work in ways we don’t often see. Being a part of Sovereign Grace Churches means that we are linked together in a common mission where God is at work in 60+ other churches. Here’s how Apostle Paul spoke about other churches,
“Only let your manner of life be worthy of the gospel of Christ, so that whether I come and see you or am absent, I may hear of you that you are standing firm in one spirit, with one mind striving side by side for the faith of the gospel” (Philippians 1:27).
Paul loved knowing that others were standing firm with him in the gospel. He loved knowing that though separated by many miles they were striving together towards the same goal.
HisStory is a series of posts that Sovereign Grace has been put together to help us as a family of churches rejoice in God’s work. It’s the good news of what God is doing and not merely our doing. I encourage you to rejoice in this testimony of a brother named Destin Mahalik. He shared it one Sunday at his home church, Covenant Fellowship Church, in Glen Mills, Pennsylvania.
